由於符號學中的互文性是呈現這個網路世代所具備開放性與多元性特色。許多事物因人與人之間互動產生增值及意義的擴張，便產生了互文的現象。這在設計作品中也常發生，消費者延伸了設計師的想法再加入自己的創意，讓設計產生更多的漣漪效應。我們身處全世界因網路無遠弗屆而呈現一個無時間空間的狀態中，但一個符號卻在不同文化中有不同涵意解讀。解讀、理解與運用世代的符碼意義是設計師重要的知識涵養，也希望藉由符號轉化來呈現我們這屆畢業展的設計宣言。
