I understand that the transportation provided and activities in which I participate will expose me to the risk of personal injury and property damage. In exchange for my ability to participate in the Events and all related activities, I HEREBY AGREE TO ASSUME ALL RISKS OF THIS EVENT AND COMPLETELY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE THE UNIVERSITY from any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, and liabilities that I have or may have against the University related to any loss, damage, or injury, including suffering and death, that may be sustained by me or by any property belonging to me which arises out of my participation in the Events, transportation during the Events, and all activities I undertake during the Events, irrespective of whether the activities are sponsored, supervised or controlled by the University in any manner. This release and assumption of risk includes but is not limited to claims based upon tort, contract, statutory duties, premises liability, fiduciary duties and equitable claims, and expressly includes claims based on the University’s negligence, recklessness, and strict liability.
