鑑於過敏病科醫生的需求殷切，養和醫院於2012年3月開設過敏病科中心，由免疫及過敏病科專科醫生李德康醫生出任中心主任。李醫生曾於英國擔任過敏病科顧問及教授多年，回港後積極為本中心引入多項嶄新醫療技術，如各種脫敏治療，為過敏症病人帶來新希望。此外，中心亦設有過敏病科小廚，由過敏病科營養師指導病人及其家人或照顧者如何正確地為過敏症患者處理及烹調食材，避免交叉污染。
