The amount of CO released is much larger than that of CO2 for all samples, although two interesting differences on the values of the CO/CO2 ratio are observed: i) the CO/CO2 ratio for glucose-derived carbons is higher than that of the hybrid materials and, ii) the CO/CO2 ratio for glucose-derived carbons increases with the degree of activation, while in hybrid carbons, the sample with the higher degree of activation exhibits a CO/CO2 ratio lower than those obtained for the rest of the hybrid materials, especially for sample AG-CNT1400.
