本篇論文所使用的Raspberry Pi如圖 2-1，硬體採用Raspberry Pi 3 Model B V1.2，其硬體規格CPU採用1.2 GHz 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53；GPU採用Dual Core VideoCore IV Multimedia CoProcessor；Open GL ES 2.0;hardware-accelerated OpenVG; 1080p60H.264 high-profie decode；記憶體為1GB LPDDR2（與GPU共享）；視訊輸出有Composite RCA以及HDMI兩種；音訊輸出為3.5mm jack及HDMI(1.3 & 1.4)兩種；儲存採用microSD 16G；有線網路採用10/100 RJ45規格；相較於Raspberry Pi 2，第三代的樹莓派多了藍牙4.1、802.11n 的無線網路模組、1G的記憶體及 64-bit的CPU。作業系統使用NOOBS安裝Raspbian系統。
