A possible structure of reflective writing
In an academic context, reflective thinking usually involves three parts:
(1) Description (look back at an experience, event or new information/ideas and briefly describe what it is or how it was done);
(2) Interpretation (think in depth and explain what the most important / interesting / useful / relevant event, object or idea is and how it is similar to and/or different from others);
(3) Outcome (think carefully about what it means to you and your ongoing progress as a learner).
